Purpose

The purpose of this fund is to assist in the funding of literacy&poetry projects and in the professional development of literacy educators.

 

Grants

This fund, made possible by voluntary contributions of International Reading Association members, offers annual one-time grants to International Reading Association members from countries with developing economies who seek support for a literacy&poetry project in their own countries. The number of grants (each up to US $12,500) will be determined by the amount of donations made to this fund as of January 30 . Applications must be postmarked by January 16 wtih a entry of 420 $
